RUNEDI -Rural Needy Development Initiative

RUNEDI Is a benevolent indigenous Rural Development non- governmental voluntary organization established in 2005 by collaborative efforts of a group of veteran community volunteers depicting on strong Christian interdenominational spirit aspect with central core mandate hinging on the conviction of extra ordinary person promotion and cherishing empathy, unity and relief support for effective and holist life transformation geared towards people's self-reliance though integrated community outreach programs
TO ENSURE AND FOSTER SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE COMMUNITY WELL BEING THROUGH INTERGRATED COMPREHENSIVE AND INNOVATIVE STRATAGIES THAT FOCUS ON VULNERABLE COMMUNITY HEATH, EDUCATION SUPPORT FOR OPHANS AND VULNERABLE YOUTH FOSTERING AGRICULTURE LIVELIHOODS, NUTRITION, FOOD SECURITY AND GOSPLE OUTREACH.

Many Ugandan children face a troubling life with malnutrition, lack of education, and exposure to crime. 49 out of 1000 children living in Uganda die before their 5th birthday. 29% of children suffer from stunting due to malnutrition. 16% of children in Uganda are engaged in child labour. 56% of Uganda’s children suffer from multiple deprivations.
